Weichin is an excellent host, she was always very quick to respond if I ever had any questions. Staying here isn’t like renting a hotel room. You are part of Taiwanese household with local roommates that are very friendly and happy to teach you about life in Taipei. As far as the location, arguably one of the best spots in Taipei City. Taipei Arena MRT is just around the corner. The place is close to main streets where you can find shopping malls, grocery stores, nice restaurants etc. But it’s also tucked away on a side street where there are plenty of local spots to eat.
Best things about the apartment:
1) It’s a fully furnished household so you’ll have all the amenities you need in life: (cooking utensils, furniture, electronics, etc… GREAT if you’re staying for more than a couple days).
2) You have your own washing machine and kitchen… that makes life convenient for many reasons.
3) The massage chair is great after a long day of walking around.
4) The room itself is very Japanese-style with sliding paper doors and decorative furniture… it’s fun to say I’ve lived in a place like that now!
5) Weichin and the other roommate are very kind and helpful!
Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to live like a local in Taipei!
